Metal Gear Solid 4 was released on 2007. It was one of the PS3's first big post-launch games. It gets a lot of criticism for having long cutscenes and being too serious, but it's still an okay game. MGS4 is the climax of the series, and it tries as hard as it can to wrap up every single plot thread created from the previous games in the series.
